What did our class do today during math? Well to begin with we fought with Zenlive to get it to work properly, unfortunately we lost. We were then supposed to each make a table of values on the white board but then Zen thought it was too cool to let us work on the board... and apparently Zen won there too. Or maybe some people thought it'd be a good idea to start erasing everything, who knows.
I'm betting on the second option.
But when it comes to the actual math that we did today what we did is go over some different types of functions; linear, quadratic, square root & GIF. Identifying them, graphing them using table of values. We looked over rate of change, and the rate of change of the rate of change, ex: whether or not the rate of change or the rate of change of the rate of change is constant. (I'm not sure I can use "rate of change" in a sentence many more times if I still want it to make sense.)
Then we got into figuring out what parameter B is, oh and apparently the days of b equaling 1 are gone! So now we have to get rid of it, using algebra. Then we had to go back in time to the beginning of the year to remember radicals, then there was some more getting rid of b! No one likes b anyway..

The voice thread explains everything so go watch it if you haven't it's called "identifying and simplifying 2nd degree functions" in Sakai.

Oh and comment on this post because you know.. you have to hah.

Found this: how do you make 7 an even number?

Take the "s" away.

sooooo funny, I know.
